It was truly an honor and privilege to administer the Oath of Office to Chief Jeremiah Hite as he transitions into the Mustang Community and earns his commission as a Chief Warrant Officer. 🇺🇸⚓

What made this moment even more meaningful was the simplicity of the ceremony held during drill weekend in the Chiefs Mess, surrounded by family, friends, fellow Chiefs and Navy Reserve Center triad. These are the moments that remind us what service, leadership, and legacy are all about.

Chief Hite’s journey is a testament to hard work, dedication, and the unwavering commitment to lead from the front. The Navy gains a strong Warrant Officer, and the Mustang Community gains another proven leader.

Big day at RTAG SW Site Phoenix today. We had whites inspection and awards, and huge shoutout to HM1 Moore for receiving two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (NAMs) back to back! Well deserved and a great example of hard work paying off. 👏🇺🇸

Even better was seeing leadership leading from the front. NRC Phoenix’s Commanding Officer and the RTAG SW Commanding Officer Leading the planks while knocking out Div inspection. That’s right, we were answering questions while planking! 💪

That kind of leadership sets the tone and reminds everyone we’re all in it together.

Proud to be part of a team that recognizes excellence and keeps pushing each other to be better every day.

Today we celebrate the birthday of the U.S. Navy Seabees and the incredible legacy they’ve built since 1942.

During my career, I had the privilege of working alongside Seabees while assigned to Naval Construction Handling Battalion and Amphibious Construction Battalion units. That experience gave me a firsthand look at their professionalism, technical expertise, and the way they execute the mission in some of the most demanding environments.

Seabees truly live their motto, “We Build, We Fight.” Whether constructing critical infrastructure or supporting expeditionary operations, their ability to adapt, innovate, and deliver results is unmatched. The pride, teamwork, and “Can Do” spirit they bring to every mission make them one of the most respected communities in our Navy.

Grateful for the opportunity to have served alongside such a dedicated group of warfighters.

Today we had a going-away lunch for HM1 Morgan Moore before she starts her terminal leave. Man, it’s hard to sum up ten years of knowing someone who’s just… genuinely kind in every way she leads. Through the rough days, the big calls, the little moments, she always chose kindness first, lifted people up, and made you feel like you mattered. That’s her real superpower, and it’s the kind of leadership we should all try to live up to. HM1 Moore, thank you for everything you’ve poured into this command and into all of us. We’re seriously grateful. God bless you on whatever comes next, fair winds and following seas! 💪⚓
