DPW The Black Rock City (BRC) Department of Public Works (DPW) builds the infrastructure of Burning Man. Are you ready to build Burning Man with us? We want you!

Black Rock City’s Department of Public Works (DPW) is the workforce that plans, surveys, builds, and deconstructs the basic infrastructure of our temporary city in the Black Rock Desert. Since 1998 the DPW has worked side by side with all of the departments within the Burning Man Project to institute the City Plan and bring Black Rock City into existence. Every year we take on a wide variety of volunteers and are pleased to announce a handful of open paid roles as well. In an effort to expand our reach to people like you who might be more in alignment with the unique culture of our beloved city and our array of crew needs, we invite you to share these recruiting posts far and wide. Our best new community members are the ones who were already in it but just didn't know it and we rely on your word of mouth more than you know. As always, feel free to keep an eye on Burning Man's Job Board : https://apply.burningman.org/apply/

And stay up to date by signing up for our DPW Announce Mailing List to be alerted to our DPW Application Launch in the early spring of 2024 : https://forms.gle/ViuzMYLxZtpo5H6S7
