Yesterday, we welcomed some of our barn staff into the office for our biosecurity meetings. We covered all things pig health; disease prevention, barn maintenance, current health status, and what each barn can do to continue to raise healthy, productive pigs.

Last month, the NPPC Vice President and our Chief Production Officer, Todd Marotz, traveled to the Philippines with other U.S. delegation to speak with Philippines government officials. He even spoke at the Philippine Association of Meat Processors Inc. general meeting, where he noted the partnership between the U.S. meat sector and the Philippine meat processing industry.

We are proud to have Todd as a representative of not only Wakefield Pork, but the pig farmers all around the United States. Thank you, Todd, for making an impact globally!

2 parades, 100 pounds of candy, 800 pork snack sticks, 600 recipe cards, 25 volunteers, hundreds of waves, and countless smiles.

We had a blast participating in two parades this summer. The New Ulm Bavarian Blast parade and the Ga***rd Eggstravaganza parade did not disappoint. Thanks to all of our employees who volunteered to walk in the parades and to all of the community members who shared a smile (and a snack stick) with us! 🎆
