We designed Budget Bingo as a hands-on, reusable activity to bring real-life skills into the community.

By laminating the bingo cards, we can use them over and over—giving our clients consistent opportunities to practice budgeting, make thoughtful choices, and learn how to stretch their dollar.

Today’s outing at CRAVE Pasta Pizza Pub was a HIT.

We jumped into their Spring Break “Make Your Own Pizza” event and turned it into a full experience…
from kneading the dough ➡️ choosing toppings ➡️ baking ➡️ enjoying every bite.

There’s just something about creating your own food from start to finish & the smiles say it all.

Safe to say… these weren’t just pizzas, these were masterpieces 🔥

🌟✨ Introducing Crossroads Moments ✨🌟

We’re excited to begin sharing a new series where we highlight the real stories, experiences, and impact of Crossroads through the voices of the people who know it best. ❤️

Each week, we’ll feature a new “Crossroads Moment”… because sometimes it’s the everyday moments that say the most.

🌟✨Kerri’s Story ✨🌟

Kerri has worked in this field since 1986, so when it came to finding the right fit for her son, she had her own perspective.

“She wasn’t too keen on him going to a program at first… it felt like a school room.”

That was her first impression.

But that’s not what she’s experiencing now.

Instead, she started noticing something different…

“They’re cooking… going to the animal shelter… out doing things.”

And then came the moments that mattered most.

“When he comes home, he’s so excited.”

“He comes in the house smiling, ready to tell us everything he did that day.” ❤️

“He doesn’t just jump out of the car… he sits there and talks to staff before he heads in.”

That’s when you know.

“He loves it.”
“I can’t tell you how pleased I am.”
“I am super impressed with this whole program.”

He wants to go to Crossroads…
“He looks forward to it.”

“I’ve seen so much more socialization… he wants to go see his friends.”
“He’s even walked to a friend’s house down the road on his own.”

💬 Kerri shared this message for other families:

Who is Crossroads

Founded in 1972, Crossroads Industries has been actively engaged in Otsego County for over 48 years creating opportunities and providing supports that help to ensure every person, regardless of ability, has equal access to all that Ga***rd and its neighboring communities have to offer. The individuals we work with can be found creating unique pieces of art at Studio45 (see some of their work at https://lady-latte.com/), which they then are able to sell at Lady Latte (https://www.facebook.com/ladylattegaylord/), or they might be working at Crossroads Business Services (https://www.facebook.com/crossroadsbusinessservices/) or a number of other employers throughout the Ga***rd area. Or, they might just be out exploring the many different opportunities that can be found in Ga***rd and its surrounding communities.
