✨ A little creativity, relaxation, and sensory exploration at E-Free Church - Ga***rd Campus today!

Today’s activity was all about creating personalized sensory pouches! Everyone had the opportunity to select their own glitter colors and decorative additions, then enjoy watching their creations shift and swirl with every movement.

Sensory activities offer a wonderful opportunity to unwind, improve focus, relieve stress, and engage the senses in a calming, hands-on experience.

🍂 A little Sunday reflection as we wrap up another beautiful fall weekend!

Last Thursday was National Hero Day, and one of our outing groups took the opportunity to explore what being a hero means to each of them.

Through personalized collages, everyone chose images that represented their own idea of a hero. From familiar faces and favorite characters to the everyday things that inspire us, each creation told a different story.

That’s what made this activity so meaningful. We all see the world a little differently, and the people and things we admire are just as unique as we are. ❤️

We hope everyone enjoyed this beautiful fall weekend, soaked up some sunshine, and found a little time to appreciate all that Northern Michigan has to offer! ☀️🍁

🌲🍂 Fresh air, new adventures, and the beauty of Northern Michigan!

Yesterday, our guys explored Grass River Natural Area in Bellaire, enjoying a scenic boardwalk through the woods, a visit to the nature center, and lunch surrounded by beautiful fall scenery!

There’s something special about discovering new places, connecting with our communities, and staying active while simply enjoying the great outdoors. ❤️

Sometimes the best adventures are right in our own backyard!

❤️ 160 families. That’s how many households the Mobile Food Pantry at E-Free Church has helped put food on the table for this month! That’s 160 families receiving a little extra support, thanks to the generosity and dedication of people right here in our community.

Today, Crossroads had the opportunity to roll up our sleeves and lend a helping hand at the food pantry, supporting an important resource that makes a real difference for our neighbors.

One of the things that makes experiences like this so special is seeing how passionate both our clients and staff are about giving back. That shared enthusiasm for helping others is something we’re incredibly proud of, and it shines through in moments like these!

It’s days like these that remind us how much good can happen when people come together with a shared desire to help others. We’re proud to be part of a community where kindness and generosity are put into action! ❤️

A little trip back in time! 🚒

This crew enjoyed a visit to the Boyne Heritage Museum, where we spent time exploring local history and checking out some fascinating pieces of the past!

From the beautiful antique fire truck to the historical displays and artifacts, there was plenty to see and learn about. It’s always fun to discover the stories and history behind the communities around us!

A great day of exploring, learning, and enjoying a little Northern Michigan history! 🍂

🍝 🌻Yesterday was National Noodle Day, and we celebrated at Studio 45 by giving pasta a whole new purpose!

With some paint, glue, and a variety of pasta shapes, we created colorful flowers and cheerful sunflowers inspired by the beautiful fall season! 🍂🎨

Who knew something as simple as a box of noodles could bring a little autumn sunshine indoors?

We had a great time putting a creative twist on this fun national day! 💛

What a beautiful fall day at Knaebe's Mmmunchy Krunchy Apple Farm ! 🍎🍂

We soaked up the sunshine while exploring the orchard, making our way through the corn maze, visiting the animals, and enjoying all the little things that make a fall day at the farm so much fun. The gorgeous fall colors made it even better!

Days like this are one of the best parts of October in Northern Michigan. 🧡

Today we made our way to Tee Lake Resort’s Halloween Spooktacular in Lewiston. The displays are just as impressive—and plenty spooky—even in the daylight. There was so much to see as we made our way through all of the Halloween scenes and decorations.

Afterward, we headed to the library and kept with the theme of the day by reading “You Are Here” by A.S. Mott from Campfire Ghost Stories: Volume II.

A great way to enjoy a fall day and get into the Halloween spirit! 🍂👻
