Office Administrator – Electrical Wholesale

Position Overview
A wellestablished electrical wholesale company in Gainesville, GA is seeking a reliable and
detailoriented Office Administrator to support daily operations. This role is ideal for a
professional who is organized, customerfocused, and comfortable handling a blend of
administrative tasks, light accounting, billing, and frontoffice responsibilities. The Office
Administrator plays a key role in ensuring smooth workflow, accurate documentation, and
exceptional customer service for contractors, vendors, and walkin clients.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional, friendly manner
Provide customer service support to contractors, vendors, and walkin customers
Perform light accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and payment
posting
Assist with billing, account updates, and basic AR/AP support
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly administrative reports as needed
Support sales staff with order entry, quotes, and customer account information
Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries, and office supply inventory
Ensure front office area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to support overall business operations
Required Qualifications
2+ years of administrative or office support experience
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic understanding of accounting or billing processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
High attention to detail and accuracy
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in electrical supply, construction supply, or wholesale distribution
Familiarity with invoicing systems or ERP software
Prior experience supporting sales or operations teams
Knowledge of basic AR/AP processes
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office within a busy electrical wholesale environment. Daily
interaction with customers, vendors, and internal teams is expected. Reliability, accuracy, and a
positive attitude are essential.
