• Ensure that looms are in good operating condition to prevent unnecessary stops.
• Inspect looms both front and back to detect possible defects and prevent long running defects.
• Identify and document any defects on the cut ticket and/or flag as required.
• Ensure that looms are running defect free after any corrective action. Document and/or flag if needed
• Keep warm ends as straight as possible for optimum/quality yield.
• Ensure that cut tickets match actual running styles
• Repair any weft/warp end and restart looms without weaving defects.

Hours 7:45a - 8p & 7:45p - 8a (Rotating Shift)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Operation of a forklift.
Operates process computer to manufacture batches.
Complete pour up of chemicals with directions.
Fill/Bag product up to 50 pounds.
Basic chemical blends.
Performs physical/chemical testing in local monitoring station as required during chemical processing.
Fills out necessary batchsheets, computer sheets, records, logs, and charts.
Actively participates in plant safety program/process.
Lifting various raw materials.
Manhandling drums less than 50 pounds.
Actively contributes to process improvement and innovation.
Attends ft actively participates in all process meetings, Daily Team Maintenance Meetings, etc.
Responsible for shutdown of equipment in accordance with established procedures.
Performs other assignments as required by the production manager.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
High School Diploma.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be able to climb multiple steps, lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, pass medical clearance and wear a full-face respirator.
Computer experience, windows-based software.
QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED
High level of computer skills.
Prior experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
Forklift experience.
SAP experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious High-Pressure Water Blasting Technician to join our team. In this role, you will operate high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure water blasting equipment to clean and prepare industrial surfaces, pipelines, tanks, boilers, and other structures. The ideal candidate has manufacturing or production experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in demanding industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and adjust high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure water blasting equipment (3,500–40,000+ PSI).
Remove rust, paint, chemical residue, concrete, scale, and marine growth from industrial surfaces.
Perform pre-job inspections and preventative maintenance on pumps, hoses, valves, and related equipment.
Establish work zones and maintain safety perimeters.
Follow OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.
Properly wear and maintain required PPE, including waterproof suits, face shields, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
Contain, handle, and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials according to procedures.
Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, quality, or related industrial environments.
Basic understanding of pumps, valves, and mechanical systems.
Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
Experience using hand tools and basic shop equipment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to safely manage the reactive force of high-pressure water hoses.

Preferred
Experience with waterjet cutting, laser cutting, or fabrication operations.

Full-Time | 10–12 Hour Shifts

Opsource has partnered with a local BMW supplier in the Gaffney, SC area and is now hiring Experienced Production Associates. If you have manufacturing experience and are looking for competitive pay with overtime opportunities, we want to hear from you!

Shift Schedule:
7 Days On / 2 Days Off

7 Days On / 5 Days Off

10–12 hour shifts

Saturday night/Sunday during the 7-day rotation is overtime (may not always be required depending on production needs)

Responsibilities:
Perform tasks as assigned by department team leader

Lift 35–75 lbs. consistently throughout shift

Follow all work instructions and safety guidelines

Identify and report production issues immediately

Meet daily productivity and quality standards

Label and tag products throughout production

Pack finished goods into proper containers

Perform operator-level machine maintenance as directed

Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience required

Must be able to read and speak English

Ability to understand verbal instructions

Strong team player

Comfortable working long shifts in a fast-paced environment
