MIG/TIG Welders – Gaffney, SC

Opsource of Gaffney is partnering with a local BMW supplier in the Gaffney, SC area and is currently seeking skilled MIG/TIG Welders to join their growing team.

Shifts Available:

6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
6:30 PM – 6:00 AM

Pay Rate:

$20.17 – $22.17 per hour (based on experience)

MIG Welder Responsibilities:

Operate MIG welding equipment using foot pedal controls
Measure, cut, and assemble metal components using electric arc and inert gas techniques
Prepare metal surfaces prior to welding
Set and adjust proper gas ratios
Inspect welds during and after the process to ensure strength and quality

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience
Experience using foot pedal controls required
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong teamwork skills and reliability

Full-Time | 10–12 Hour Shifts

Opsource has partnered with a local BMW supplier in the Gaffney, SC area and is now hiring Experienced Production Associates. If you have manufacturing experience and are looking for competitive pay with overtime opportunities, we want to hear from you!

Shift Schedule:
7 Days On / 2 Days Off

7 Days On / 5 Days Off

10–12 hour shifts

Saturday night/Sunday during the 7-day rotation is overtime (may not always be required depending on production needs)

Responsibilities:
Perform tasks as assigned by department team leader

Lift 35–75 lbs. consistently throughout shift

Follow all work instructions and safety guidelines

Identify and report production issues immediately

Meet daily productivity and quality standards

Label and tag products throughout production

Pack finished goods into proper containers

Perform operator-level machine maintenance as directed

Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience required

Must be able to read and speak English

Ability to understand verbal instructions

Strong team player

Comfortable working long shifts in a fast-paced environme

Key Responsibilities:

Operate all equipment safely and responsibly, ensuring the safety of yourself and other associates at all times
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Follow supervisor instructions and collaborate effectively with team members
Inspect chemical levels at the start of each shift
Inspect, test, and ensure machines are functioning properly and in good condition
Program machine settings prior to operation
Thread terry cloth into machines or sew onto pre-threaded material as needed
Perform basic troubleshooting to resolve minor machine issues; notify maintenance when necessary
Follow client specifications and company SOPs to maintain quality standards
Work efficiently to minimize downtime and meet production goals
Provide regular progress updates to supervisors
Perform housekeeping duties around machinery during startup, shutdown, and downtime

Operate forklifts and hoists to load rolls of terry cloth onto creels
Load cloth into jets and monitor each stage of the bleaching process

Role Summary
The Tech II is responsible for performing structured cabling and low-voltage installations in accordance with BICSI standards, project drawings, and company quality requirements.

This role is focused on ex*****on, consistency, and craftsmanship—not project management or crew leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Cabling Installation (Independent)
Install and dress copper cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A) and basic fiber optic cabling
Route cables according to project drawings and pathways
Maintain proper bend radius and pull tension
Install J-hooks, cable trays, and basic conduit
Ensure proper separation from power systems
Termination & Labeling
Terminate jacks and patch panels independently
Assist with fiber termination (mechanical or pre-terminated)
Apply accurate labeling per project standards
Maintain clean, organized racks and panels
Pathways & Infrastructure
Install and modify cable support systems (J-hooks, trays)
Install sleeves and stubs as directed
Follow firestopping requirements (if certified)
Ensure proper cable support and spacing
Testing & Troubleshooting (Assisted)
Perform basic copper testing
Identify and correct common installation issues
Assist with certification testing
Document test results as required
Safety Responsibilities
Follow all jobsite safety requirements
Use proper PPE at all times
Safely operate ladders and lifts
Report unsafe conditions immediately
Stop work if safety or quality is compromised

Qualifications
Required:

2+ years of structured cabling or low-voltage experience
Ability to work independently
Familiarity with BICSI standards
Ability to read blueprints and project drawings
Comfortable working at heights and in ceiling spaces
Preferred:

BICSI Installer 1 (or equivalent experience)
OSHA 10 or higher
Manufacturer certifications
