Now Hiring: Shipping/Materials Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Shipping/Materials Supervisor to support the Materials Department and help ensure inventory, scheduling, shipping, and raw material needs are handled accurately and efficiently.
This position is responsible for analyzing customer releases, coordinating production line schedules, maintaining just-in-time inventory, supporting FIFO practices, performing cycle counts, supervising material handlers, and helping maintain safety, 5S, and continuous improvement standards.
Qualified candidates should have:
• 8–10 years of materials/logistics experience, preferably in automotive
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, MRP/JIT processes, FIFO, cycle counts, and production scheduling
• ERP experience; AS400/CMS preferred
• Leadership experience, including training, assigning work, coaching, and resolving issues
• Strong computer, math, organization, verbal, and written communication skills
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, kaizen, and continuous improvement
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, materials, or supply chain preferred
Must be dependable, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and able to work weekends, alternate shifts, or flexible hours as needed.
