This is a temporary position. Must be available to work starting May 31, 2022 through July 7, 2022. Must have open availability.
Schedules will be:

7am-4pm
5pm-12am
Duties Include, but are not limited to:

Gather supplies from warehouse
Set up tables, traffic flow lanes, etc. to prepare for event
Maintain bathroom cleanliness during event
Outside work
Other duties as assigned by Event Supervisor

The main responsibility of a food runner is to deliver food to restaurant patrons. Once a customer places an order, the waiter or waitress communicates the order to the cook. After the meal is prepared, the food runner is responsible for ensuring that the plate arrives to the customer. Food runners are the last of the staff to see the meal before it reaches the customer, so it's important for them to know what each dish is supposed to look like, so nothing is missed. It's also important that the plates are handled carefully and brought out in a timely manner, to ensure optimal food temperature.

• Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
• Cook and package batches of food, such as hamburgers and fried chicken, which are prepared to order or kept warm until sold.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
• Pre-cook items such as bacon, in order to prepare them for later use.
• Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.
• Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
• Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
• Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
• Order and take delivery of supplies.
• Schedule activities and equipment use with managers, using information about daily menus to help coordinate cooking times.

*MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 6AM-6PM.
* SCHEDULE IS TUESDAY-THURSDAY

 Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment,
and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
 Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
 Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
 Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
 Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients,
co-workers, etc.
 Adheres to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
 Ensures security of company assets
 Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

 Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
 Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
 Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
 Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
 Clean up station and take care of leftover food
 Stock inventory appropriately
 Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
 Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
 Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
