Women in Business members, past and present, attended the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce and Sanibel Captiva Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon about Sanibel for Tourism Today & Tomorrow: A VCB Update and an insightful conversation with Pamela Johnson, Executive Director of the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau.

We learned more about the future of tourism, the visitor economy, and the work happening to continue strengthening and sharing this incredible place we call home.

And looking around yesterday, one thing was easy to agree on: What a beautiful place we get to live, work, connect and do business.

With deep gratitude, thank you to our sponsors, our APEX Award nominees, our vendors, and every speaker who showed up with wisdom, honesty, and heart. You created an experience that truly moved and empowered this community.

A special thank you to our presenting sponsor Lee Health and our host Florida SouthWestern State College Foundation for your partnership and commitment to elevating women across Southwest Florida.

We closed the conference with powerful remarks from Reverend Denise Sawyer, reminding us that when we lend a hand up to another woman, we create space for her to rise into her full potential.

And the impact continues beyond today. All monies raised from this conference benefit nontraditional students at Florida SouthWestern State College and Florida Gulf Coast University through grants that help them continue their education and build their future.

Level HER Up is officially underway and the energy in the room is incredible.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our sponsors and vendors who made this day possible, especially our presenting sponsor Lee Health and our host FSW Foundation.

We began the morning with a grounding meditation and inspiring welcome remarks from Dr. Cherrie Morris. Right now, our keynote speaker Melanie S. Griffith is sharing powerful insights on leadership, resilience, and empowerment with over 300 women in the room.

This is what community focused on Health, Empowerment, and Renewal is all about!
