Our Driver Apprenticeship Program gives you the experience and confidence you need to kick-start your driving career at a top carrier. In this one-year program, we provide full-time pay with wage
progression, on-the-job training, and ongoing mentorship. Currently, enrollment is open for Michigan residents only.
How the Driver Apprenticeship works
Once you’ve completed your driver training at an accredited school, passed a road test, and earned your CDL license, we’ll give you training and ongoing mentorship as you hit the road. During your 12-month contract, you’ll drive a variety of routes to gain hands-on experience. When the year is up, we’ll talk about available opportunities and try to match you with a role that meets your needs.

To participate, you must:
✓be eligible to work in Michigan
✓have a valid driver’s license for at least 1-2 years (non-commercial)
✓have a clean Driver’s Abstract, with no active suspensions
✓pass a background check
✓have a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate
✓be at least 18 years old for in-state driving, or 21 years old for out-of-state driving and transporting hazmat (no Class 1)
✓agree to work least 12 consecutive months (or 2,000 hours) after graduating from an accredited driving school and receiving your Commercial Driving License (CDL).
