After 21 years of dedicated service to the City of Forest Park, Assistant Chief Brown will be leaving Forest Park Fire Department to begin a new chapter with the Fairfield Fire Department.

Throughout his career in Forest Park, Chief Brown served our community, our department, and our membership in many roles — including as a former President of IAFF Local 3024. His leadership, experience, and commitment to the fire service have left a lasting impact on our department and the members he served alongside.

Chief Brown, thank you for everything you have done for Forest Park, our department, and Local 3024 over the past 21 years.

We wish you continued success as you begin this next chapter of your career with Fairfield.

Due to the hazardous conditions from heavy rainfall and flash flooding, a Travel Watch has been issued.

A Travel Watch means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public. During a "watch" local travel advisory, only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended, and emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies and other organizations.

The Travel Watch will be in place until conditions improve.
