Position Overview:
Setting: Outpatient clinic, school-based services, and telehealth

Treating mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, ASD, and behavioral health conditions

Responsibilities:

Assignment Overview
MedCare Staffing, Inc., a veteran-owned locum tenens and allied health staffing firm, is seeking a credentialed CT Technologist for a one-month outpatient clinic assignment in Gwinnett County, Georgia. A great fit for local Atlanta-area CT Techs, PRN providers, or travel allied professionals wanting clinic hours with no nights, weekends, or call.
Position Details
Locum CT Technologist; outpatient clinic in Gwinnett County (metro Atlanta); April 30 – May 25, 2026 (approx. 4 weeks); Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 8 hours/day preferred (part-time considered); GE CT scanner; outpatient setting with no inpatient rounding, call, or weekends; 1099 contractor (W-2 case-by-case).
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; ARRT (R) required, ARRT (CT) strongly preferred; active Georgia licensure (or eligibility before start); current AHA BLS/CPR; minimum 1 year of recent CT experience; proficiency on GE CT equipment; competent in IV insertion and contrast administration.
Preferred Qualifications
Outpatient or imaging-center background; prior locum, travel, or contract experience; familiarity with common outpatient EMR and PACS workflows.
Core Responsibilities
Perform high-quality CT exams on adult and (as applicable) pediatric outpatients per physician orders and clinic protocols; operate GE CT equipment safely under ALARA principles; position patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety; establish IV access and administer contrast, monitoring for adverse reactions; document accurately in the clinic EMR/PACS; perform routine QA and escalate technical issues; collaborate with providers, front-office staff, and radiology team to maintain throughput; adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable regulatory standards.
Compensation
