We opened the first Express Employment Professional franchise in Toledo, OH in 1996. Since then we have grown to over 18 million in annual sales volume in the Toledo metro area. Our main office is located at 5350 Airport Highway in Toledo. In January of 20

14 we opened a 2nd office in North Toledo to better serve our customers and associates. It is located at 240 West Alexis Road. In 2015 we opened a 3rd office in Bowling Green, Ohio at 1616 East Wooster Street in the Greenwood Centre in Bowling Green. Most recently, in June 2016, we had yet another expansion in Findlay, OH. That office is located at 1212 Tiffin Ave.

Laborer / Forklift Operator

Location: Kenton, OH

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer/Forklift Operator to join our team in Kenton, Ohio. This position plays a key role in unloading, handling, and inventorying materials arriving by rail and truck while helping maintain a safe and efficient terminal operation.

What You'll Do
Unload and inventory materials from railcars and trucks
Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment
Handle products such as lumber, steel, and bulk/free-flowing materials
Assist with packaging and preparing materials for shipment
Re-stack, re-band, and cover materials as needed
Complete daily equipment inspections
Help maintain the facility, including mowing, w**d trimming, and general property upkeep
Remove dunnage and assist with railcar unloading operations
Support railcar placement activities (training provided)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Comfortable standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, and performing physical work throughout the day
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Comfortable working at heights when required
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Good communication, time management, and multitasking skills
Safety-focused mindset and attention to detail
Work Environment

This position is performed primarily outdoors and requires working in:

Direct sunlight
Rain and wet conditions
Cold weather
Industrial and rail-yard environments

Employees must wear appropriate PPE and work attire, including steel or composite toe footwear.

Job Summary

The Production Associate is responsible for processing daily production while maintaining quality standards and efficiency to prepare products for customer delivery. This role offers a variety of production tasks and requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Production Associates may be assigned to one or more of the following areas:

Linen Processing
Sort linens and inspect for stains
Feed products into ironing equipment
Inspect, sort, fold, and stack finished products by size and shade
Maintain posted production quantities
Small Piece Folding
Feed aprons into folding machinery
Inspect and sort towels on conveyor belts
Bundle gloves, mops, and various textile products
Fold towels, smocks, coveralls, and prepare shower kits
Load-Out
Pull products from shelves and load pallets or carts
Identify routes with load sheets
Communicate inventory shortages to supervisors
Put away returned or shrink-wrapped products
Bagging Machine Operations
Inspect towels moving on conveyors
Sort acceptable and rejected products
Weigh and bag materials according to specifications
Garment Processing
Hang uniforms on hangers and send through steam tunnel
Inspect garments for quality
Sort and bundle garments by customer or route
Additional Duties
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management
Qualifications

✔ High School Diploma or GED preferred
✔ Excellent attendance record
✔ Reliable transportation
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Physical Requirements
Lift 20-40 lbs. intermittently
Stand for the duration of the shift
Strong hand-eye coordination
Frequent use of arms and back muscles
Ability to work in warmer temperatures during summer months
