Build the Infrastructure That Powers the Cloud
Manpower is seeking a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer I to help operate and maintain the critical infrastructure behind one of the world’s largest cloud platforms.

What You’ll Do
• Support engineering operations within a mission-critical data center environment
• Coordinate and oversee work performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical infrastructure systems
• Monitor and operate systems including:
o Switchgear and electrical distribution
o Backup generators and UPS systems
o Power distribution equipment
o Chillers and cooling towers
o Computer room air handlers (CRAH)
o Building monitoring and automation systems
• Analyze operational data, establish performance benchmarks, and produce reports
• Partner with IT and business teams to coordinate projects and manage capacity
• Assist with facility upgrades, efficiency improvements, and new buildouts
• Maintain accurate asset tracking and inventory records
• Support recruiting and development of technical staff
• Ensure all work meets operational safety and quality standards

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Degree (Military, Trade School, or equivalent experience)
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
• 0–2 years of data center engineering or operations experience
• 0–2 years of leadership or management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in:
o Electrical Engineering
o Mechanical Engineering
o Or a related technical discipline
• Basic knowledge of:
o Network design and infrastructure layout
o Low-voltage cabling systems (copper and fiber)
