Full Job Description
2nd Shift: 2PM to Close (Usually 11PM)
This is a full-time position responsible for the installation and continued maintenance of all equipment and structural components in the facility. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical; AC/DC up to 480V 3-Phase power, reading and interpreting diagrams and schematics, and a basic understand of Variable Frequency Drives and Programmable Logic Controllers. Nonni’s Maintenance Technicians are flexible, team driven, and have the aptitude to work on any equipment within the facility. Answering calls for maintenance will be a part of the regular day. A training period will be afforded to accommodate for the specific equipment needs at this facility. Our equipment ranges from legacy wrappers to industrial ovens, office cooling and heating, up to state-of-the-art robotics and packaging equipment. A good understanding of maintenance theory is required as a base to grow from. We don’t expect every Technician to have every answer, but we do expect a concerted effort to resolve situations that impede production.

This means, as a Maintenance Technician, you will be expected to perform intrusive maintenance tasks on days with no scheduled production runs. If you want O/T pay, the hours will be there for you. The Maintenance Team is often required to work at a fast pace, ensuring that work performed will maintain productivity while maintaining a sanity environment.
Previous experience in baking or confectionary operations to include high-speed wrapping and packing is highly preferred. Hands on, full-time position. Minimum travel on very rare occasions. Reimbursement for mileage traveled for work purposes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Must provide own basic tools.
Work with outside contractors, as necessary.
Report consumption of materials and parts to Maintenance Department for inventory control.
Must be trainable or familiar with: Hot work permits, Lock-out Tag-out, Right-to-know, SDS, emergency procedures, and effective use of PPE.
Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license.
Must be able to understand and proactively endorse GMP, HACCP, Allergen, SQF, and other regulatory demands. Training will be provided.
Must be able to read basic blueprints and schematics.
Must be able to climb, reach, and bend unassisted.
Ability to use hand and power tools properly and safely.
Welding and machining skills are desirable.
Must be able to work in a safe and sanity manner.
Meet additional responsibilities as required and assigned.
