We are grateful for all who attended our No Nurse Left Behind (NNLB) event in partnership with the B.R.I.D.G.E. grant. NNLB hosted a dinner to educate providers on opioid awareness, the importance of overcoming biases when treating patients, and the latest evidence-based treatments to give patients great care. 5th Annual No Nurse Left Behind Professional Development conference is in the books! We "kept it real" in true NNLB fashion! Dr. Pat Uddyback and Dr. Ralph Williams were great presenters on what providers and clinicians need to know about social determinants when caring for patients in the ER and primary care! We discussed chapter 3 of our textbook, Urban Health: A Practical Application for Clinical Based Learning.

Today's conference is part one of our Social Determinants of Health series. Look out for future events! We will be addressing cardiac disease, diabetes, respiratory illnesses, mental health, kidney disease, and maternal health!!! Thank you all for supporting!!
