EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER – BIRMINGHAM, MI
Our client, a retired, very active, executive couple residing in a beautifully maintained Birmingham estate, is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper for a long-term, full-time position. This is an exceptional opportunity for a polished, service-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership of a residence and maintaining the highest standards of household care.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with excellent housekeeping skills, strong attention to detail, and a warm, flexible approach. The principals are gracious and appreciative employers seeking a trusted household professional who will become an integral part of their home.
Schedule is 30-40 hours/week to be mutually agreed upon.
Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive hands-on housekeeping of a luxury residence
Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
Polishing silver and caring for fine furnishings, antiques, and special surfaces
Running household errands and managing household supplies
Preparing the home for family and guests
Coordinating with vendors, contractors, and the property management company as needed
Overseeing the residence during the principals' extended winter travels
Ensuring the home remains guest-ready and impeccably maintained year-round
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a private household, estate, or executive residence required
Strong housekeeping and household management skills
Ability to work independently and anticipate household needs
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and dependable
Flexible attitude with a genuine hospitality mindset
