Hiring for a Student Recruiter

We are looking for a student recruiter to join our team ASAP.
A student recruiter will be responsible for attracting and enrolling students to our school programs. The main duties include developing and implementing recruitment strategies, attending college fairs and events, conducting presentations, and building relationships with potential students and their families.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to the following:
1. Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract prospective students.
2. Attend college fairs, high school visits, and other events to promote the DHI and its programs.
3. Conduct presentations and workshops to educate prospective students about DHI's offerings.
4. Build relationships with high school counselors, teachers, and community organizations such as MRS, Michigan Works, Detroit Job Corps, churches, etc. to generate referrals.
5. Provide information and guidance to prospective students and their families about admissions requirements, and our career programs.
6. Coordinate campus tours and visits for prospective students to showcase DHI's facilities and campus life.
7. Maintain and update student recruitment databases and records.
8. Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
9. Evaluate and assess recruitment strategies to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition to ensure DHI remains competitive in attracting students.
Requirements for a student recruiter may include:
1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, education, or a related field.
2. Previous experience in student recruitment, admissions, or sales is preferred.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse populations.
5. Knowledge of admissions requirements, tuition payment options, and academic programs.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficiency in using recruitment databases and software.
8. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and travel.
9. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different locations.
10. Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies is a plus.
