Go Fargo Jobs was created with goal of making job seeking and recruiting talent simpler. The company was built with job seekers and employers in mind. In the employment industry, we noticed that there were a lot of dated and non-user friendly websites with too many jobs that weren’t relevant Job-seeking can be a full-time gig on its own and recruiting isn’t any easier, especially in the region’s
current job market. Go Fargo Jobs aims to consolidate, simplify, and provide a channel for relevant quality jobs to the Fargo/Moorhead and surrounding communities. Employers have many options when deciding to where to advertise their open positions and many of them can be quite costly. Our vision is to make that process cost-effective and get those positions in front of the right people. On GoFargoJobs.com employers can place online listings, Facebook recruiting ads, and listings in Fargo Monthly and Fargo INC! Getting qualified applicants is ultimately what employers care about and by using various digital marketing strategies and job syndication we can reach a very large and relevant audience. In addition, we recognized a need for a central platform for internship positions in our region. It can be expensive to post these positions, and with no dedicated place to advertise them it’s often challenging for students or graduates to find these opportunities. This is why we allow employers to post internship positions for FREE on our site. It’s essential to get those positions noticed and give students and recent graduates one simple place to find them. Being involved and supporting our local community has always been important to us personally. Working with small local companies supports our local economy and creates jobs. In our initial planning of Go Fargo Jobs, it was decided to use the company as a way to help support the community and give back. We decided Emerging Prairie would be a great organization to partner with to accomplish that. They have done incredible things by inspiring and highlighting local entrepreneurs, like ourselves, and helped make Fargo a better place to live and work. Through our partnership we will donate a portion of our revenues to help them keep doing what they do best...making Fargo great.
