The overwhelming generosity of everyone who contributed is amazing. Thank you to all who contributed! Special thanks to The Hazel Project for ensuring these donations go directly to those who need them most!

Our donors are always amazing - I say this all the time. But the last couple of weeks has been crazy with businesses, schools and individuals and families taking donating to a whole new level!

Three affiliated companies — Dental Studies Institute Inc, The Institute for Continuing Education, Inc. and Dental-Search Employment Agency, all in Fairfield, NJ, run an annual collection for charity. Most years, they collect bras for women in need. This originally stemmed from a desire to observe Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, so the collection often runs from July through October. It has become clear to these groups in recent years, that undergarments are greatly needed by homeless women as well, hence this donation to The Hazel Project. This year, the response was so significant that the collection lasted 2 extra months, bringing in 600 new or gently used bras. Other donations came in as well, including socks, hats, jackets.

Heidi Huffield Calcagno reached out to us and shared that these businesses/groups are happy to help The Hazel Project because they know that these items will directly reach those in need. Heidi, you hit the nail on the head because as you know, everything we receive goes directly to our peers in need! From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much. This massive donation will help so many women in need.
