POSITION: Business Development Representative
LOCATION: Evansville, IN
Under appropriate supervision with latitude for independent judgment, the BDR will be leading the charge in driving growth for our services by discovering and securing new customers. Your mission is to generate revenue and introduce new business opportunities by presenting supply chain improvements, engaging in face-to-face meetings with customers and closing deals. Must be able to communicate effectively, be goal driven and bring positive energy to ensure the growth of the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Make customer calls and manage customer interactions to close deals.
2. Maintain and grow relationships with customer accounts and identify opportunities for additional revenue.
3. Visit customers and potential clients monthly.
4. Execute sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly or annual expectations.
5. Contribute ideas, opinions, and best practices to support the success of the company.
6. Maintain strong local presence by participating in chamber of commerce and other business events.
7. Be aware of market conditions and how it could impact a customer’s supply chain, present solutions to customer.
8. Remains engaged with customers to maintain relationship and ensure ongoing success.
9. High attention to detail, ability to multitask, must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Experience with computers is helpful, including knowledge of Excel and Access programs. Should be knowledgeable with regard to transportation and brokerage industry.
