Today Mayor Howard upheld his mayoral duties by kicking off Oktoberfest at New Enon Brewing by tapping the first keg!
The German tradition of tapping a keg marks the beginning of Oktoberfest and was first done by Mayor Thomas Wimmer in 1950 in Munich, Germany!
We are proud to support New Enon Brewing in keeping this tradition alive here in our local community!
