Kwikpak Youth Employment Project-YEP The goal is to expose how a fishing company is operated by learning each step of the way through gaining experience in multiple areas.

The Youth Employment Project (YEP) developed from the idea of involving our young people from Yukon Delta Fisheries Development Association (YDFDA) member villages to experience how our community based company works. Because there are little to no jobs that are designed for our youth in our isolated rural communities, Kwikpak felt the need to create a program that would give youth in our area an opportunity to participate in a paying summer job that trains them for their future as well.
