The primary responsibility is to ensure that equipment is safely operating and meets intended use of optimizing up-time. The maintenance technician makes scheduled and unscheduled repairs on related equipment used in manufacturing as well as maintaining all building systems.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:
Maintain safety (including housekeeping), quality, and productivity to meet daily goals
Communicate information to ensure open communication and maximize productivity
Monitor, maintain, and execute preventative, operational, and corrective duties
Execute facility and machine preventative maintenance duties as assigned by the Maintenance Lead and/or Maintenance Manager\Process Improvement Manager
Responsible for/and accountable for operational and corrective facility and machine maintenance as needed
Miscellaneous duties including, but not limited to grounds work, janitorial activities, handling chemicals, setting up/finishing/and/or cleaning up after project
Work Environment/ Physical Demands
The work requires medium to heavy physical demand, frequent lifting (stooping kneeling, balancing, reaching, walking, standing, sitting, pushing loaded carts, and operating machinery may be required). Must be able to work in an environment that involves hazards, risks or discomforts typical of working with and/or around machinery with exposed moving parts, irritant chemicals and heavy equipment. This would include working at heights up to 50 feet off the ground with proper PPE. Exposure to disagreeable weather conditions and extreme levels of temperature, ventilation, lighting, and sounds are normal. Protective clothing or gear and specific standards or procedures are required. Maintains awareness of hazards and aware of proper and required Personal Protective Equipment.
Knowledge: Mechanical, electrical, basic computer skills, production, and processing, and one or more of the following, pneumatic, plumbing, welding.
