The Entrepreneurial Law Project is back on the road this fall, providing free legal resources to founders across the state. Here's how a checkup works: an entrepreneur gets a free 30-minute session with one or more pro bono attorneys and can ask whatever business law questions are on their mind — entity formation, contracts, tax, employment, all the things that tend to sit on the back burner. They're also welcome to submit documents in advance they'd like a lawyer to look over. No cost.

The El Dorado-Union County Chamber of Commerce is juggling a wide range of efforts aimed at growing the local economy, including business recruitment, manufacturing expansions, housing, health care and workforce development.

The chamber is also working on lithium opportunities, industrial sites, transportation and other infrastructure needs as it looks to bring more jobs and residents to Union County.

Issue 3 is a constitutional amendment on the ballot in November dealing with the creation of economic development districts. Vote YES and unlock economic development tools that 48 other states already have access to. This is NOT a tax increase and does NOT impact school funding from current property tax - Arkansas simply needs this to compete.

Watching the Razorback game this afternoon? Expect to see this commercial in support of economic development districts.
