We are seeking an experienced Staffing Coordinator for a 13-week travel assignment supporting a non-clinical operations team within Charleston. This opportunity is with MUSC Health, supporting staffing and workforce coordination functions in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Position Overview
β’ Role: Staffing Coordinator (Non-Clinical β Administrative)
β’ Location: Charleston, SC
β’ Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Travel Assignment)
β’ Schedule: MondayβFriday, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 AM β 05:00 PM)
β’ Employment Type: Contract / Travel (Non-Clinical)
β’ Potential: Option to convert to permanent employment (based on performance and FTE availability)

Key Responsibilities
β’ Coordinate staffing schedules and support workforce planning needs
β’ Assist with daily administrative operations for staffing and scheduling teams
β’ Maintain accurate staffing records, reports, and system updates
β’ Communicate effectively with department leaders regarding staffing coverage needs
β’ Support onboarding and scheduling coordination for clinical and non-clinical staff
β’ Ensure compliance with internal staffing policies and hospital procedures
β’ Provide administrative support for workforce management systems

Qualifications
β’ Prior experience in staffing coordination, scheduling, or healthcare administration preferred
β’ Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling/workforce systems
β’ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
β’ Ability to work independently and manage time-sensitive staffing needs

β’ Role: Athletic Trainer (Health Sciences β Athletic Trainer)
β’ Location: Mauston, WI
β’ Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
β’ Hours: 80 hours per pay period
β’ Schedule: MondayβFriday with evening event coverage
β’ Additional Coverage: PRN as needed
β’ Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Occasional event coverage
β’ Bonus: Eligible for up to $7,500 sign-on bonus

Key Responsibilities
β’ Provide on-site medical coverage for high school athletic events and after-school activities
β’ Perform injury prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation, and return-to-play planning
β’ Conduct musculoskeletal assessments and determine appropriate care plans
β’ Manage concussion evaluation, monitoring, and return-to-play protocols
β’ Communicate injury findings and treatment plans with athletes, parents, and coaches
β’ Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately
β’ Support occupational health services including post-offer employment testing (POETs) and functional assessments
β’ Conduct job-specific conditioning and work readiness programs
β’ Assist orthopedic clinic physicians as a physician extender (history-taking, patient education, surgical scheduling support)
β’ Coordinate athletic event coverage schedules and staffing needs
β’ Contribute to injury prevention initiatives through analysis and reporting

Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology required
β’ Minimum 1+ year of related experience preferred
β’ Current Wisconsin Athletic Trainer license required
β’ Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers certification required
β’ Current BLS certification required
β’ Valid driverβs license required
β’ Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal assessment, concussion management, and emergency care
β’ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
β’ High attention to detail and strong documentation practices
β’ Proficiency with computer systems and clinical documentation tools
