Chautauqua Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is getting into the spooky spirit with a Family-Friendly Halloween Hoorah! Staff and residents, along with their families, are invited to join us for an afternoon of Halloween fun on Saturday, October 24 from 2–4 PM! CTNRC

🍭 Trick-or-treating inside the Dayroom and on the Front Porch
🚗 New this year: Trunk-or-Treating around the building
🎃 Decorated trunks and plenty of candy
🏆 Children will vote for their favorite trunk setup, and the winning trunk will receive a prize!

Trunk-or-Treat participants are encouraged to decorate their trunks and bring candy to distribute. We can't wait for a spooktacular afternoon with our residents, staff and families! 🧡🖤

Chautauqua Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time MDS RN to coordinate reimbursement activities, oversee MDS processes and help ensure accuracy, compliance and quality outcomes.

💰 $74,880–$79,040 annually ($36–$38/hour equivalent)

☀️ Full-Time | On-site

👉 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Educate and support staff on Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, documentation, coverage and reimbursement

• Assist with certification and reimbursement processes

• Collaborate with compliance teams, claims review units and third-party payers

• Review denied claims, audits and administrative records

• Identify compliance concerns and assist with corrective action plans

• Analyze reimbursement data and utilization trends

• Monitor authorizations and third-party payer requirements

• Provide education on reimbursement programs and regulatory changes

• Conduct PDPM reviews upon admission, readmission or as needed

• Review Medicare Part A MDS assessments for accuracy and compliance

• Supervise MDS LPN activities and co-sign assessments as required

• Gather documentation for CMS and reimbursement-related audits

• Review physician documentation and assist with ICD-10 coding and diagnosis ranking

• Conduct MDS integrity reviews and complete assessments as needed

👉 REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• Two years of long-term care experience required; four years preferred

• Current unrestricted NYS Registered Nurse license

• Experience with MDS, PDPM, reimbursement and quality measures

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care and third-party payer requirements

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and support interdisciplinary teams
