In this tight hiring market, you will lose the best candidates if you go slow when you should be going fast. Use your time wisely. Keep things moving, and don't be like most companies and skip the things that really matter like: critical deep-dive assessments, behavioral interviews and reference interviews to confirm that you are truly hiring an A Player.

If you jerk a good candidate around, you will permanently sour them on your company.
