A Nor'easter can't dampen how much we want to celebrate and thank everyone who was part of our planning, preparing and fundraising for this year's Recovery Walks! There was a truly special energy displayed by one of our longest standing Recovery Walks! teams. We're grateful to all of our Fundraising Teams - this support for PRO-ACT programs is deeply appreciated!

The Top Fundraising team is once again presented to Team Toni – they walk each year in memory of their beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Toni. This incredible team has raised over $10,000 this year, and as our reigning champion, they have raised more than $70,000 dollars in Toni’s name and those gifts support our Women’s Recovery Community Center
This year, Toni’s sisters have Upped the Ante in their fundraising and went head-to-head to fight for the top spot, and that had an impact. Nicole, Linda and Jen all set audacious goals for themselves, and that meant that this year’s giving to Team Toni was CLOSE TO DOUBLE the amount they raised last year. And when the competition closed last night, Nicole was the winning sister! For us, though, every member of Team Toni, and all who donated in Toni's memory, are true Recovery Champions!

Out of an abundance of care for our attendees, volunteers, and staff, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Recovery Walks! today, September 26, due to inclement weather.

We definitely cheer for the Eagles, and PRO-ACT teams are cheering for everyone taking part in Save a Life Day today - look for them out in our communities as part of the country's largest free Narcan distribution day, including at our Southern Bucks Recovery Community Center in Bristol!

Whether you say "yinz" or "youse," cheer for the Steelers or the Eagles, saving lives is something every Pennsylvanian can get behind.

Last year, Pennsylvania distributed 10,700+ doses of naloxone on Save a Life Day, earning #3 in the nation.

Let's make a run for #1. On September 24, pick up free naloxone at a participating Save a Life Day location. Every dose distributed means another Pennsylvanian is prepared to respond to an overdose emergency.
