Shift Schedule:
Day Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
12-Hour Shifts | 4 Days Per Week

Pay Rate:
$18.75/hour

Job Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the plant.
Move, retrieve, and empty hoppers as needed.
Follow all plant safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Perform duties according to work instructions and company procedures.
Conduct quality inspections during production operations.
Utilize manufacturing data systems for basic shop floor tasks.
Respond to process alarms and assist in restoring operations.
Handle non-conforming materials according to company standards.
Assist with training and mentoring new employees.
Support production changeovers, productivity goals, and scrap reduction efforts.
Identify opportunities for departmental improvement.
Participate in plant meetings and team initiatives.

Additional Requirements:

Previous recycling facility experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, and work up to 12 hours per shift.
Forklift experience preferred.
Comfortable working in a noisy industrial environment with recyclable debris and odors.
Ability to climb stairs/ladders, crouch, kneel, and reach overhead.
Must wear required PPE including eye, ear, head, toe, and high-visibility protection.
Ability to visually inspect products for defects.

Pay is $17.50 per hour.

Employees work a 12 hour shift, 3 to 4 days per week.

Shift schedules are:

Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Adhere to all safety procedures and practice good housekeeping.
Perform job duties in accordance with all written work instructions and procedures.
Operate and maintain equipment and forklifts used to manufacture products at acceptable quality and throughput levels per control plan.
Perform quality checks related to line operation.
As needed utilize manufacturing data systems to perform basic shop floor functions.
Respond to process control alarms, bringing processes back into control.
Disposition non-conforming product according to established criteria.
Coordinates the training sessions for all new hires in the department.
Identifies opportunities for departmental improvement.
Assists in changeovers, productivity and scrap.
Assists in training and mentoring as assigned.
Participate in Plant meetings.
Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
* Lifting Requirements: 0 - 50 lbs.
* Constant: Lift and/or move up to 15lbs., driving of forklift
* Frequent: Sit, stand and walk up to 12 hours per day. Lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
* Environment: Exposed to high levels of noise, recyclable debris and smell.
* Able to visually examine minute defects in parts and products.
* Must be able to reach overhead, crouch/squat, kneel, climb ladders and/or stairs.
