Nurse practitioners see patients independently and collaborate with physicians, depending on the patient’s specific situation. We are seeking 2 experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for a large private practice Dermatology group. The expert team of 4 dermatologists, 7 PAs and 2 NPs; serve patients in 7 clinics providing medical and cosmetic dermatology and Moh’s surgical procedures. Opportunity to work with a growing team that is passionate about providing exceptional dermatology care to their patients. Practice provides acne care, Botox and dermal filler, micro-needling, skin cancer detection and treatment, annual skin cancer screenings, eczema, alopecia and roscea as well as other services. Dermatology experience is a plus, but willing to consider candidates with experience in emergency medicine, pain medicine, neurology, ENT, surgical experience including plastics. Active CA license is a plus. Training and mentoring available. Highly competitive base (DOE) plus % collections and attractive benefit package. Setting is outpatient only with no evenings and no weekends.

Responsibilities:
• Build and retain relationships with patients by treating every patient the way you’d want your friends and family to be treated
• Provide outstanding dermatology care to patients with a wide variety of skin care needs
• Determine appropriate course of treatment through listening to patient concerns and conducting physical examinations and biopsies
• Educate patients about their skin conditions, treatments, medications, and best practices for skin cancer prevention
• Develop expert knowledge of skin ailments, treatments, and products through shadowing providers, attending trainings, and seeking learning opportunities
• Frequently consult with physicians on appropriate treatments and protocols
• Refer patients to Mohs surgeon or other providers as needed
• Prescribe medications as necessary
• Record medical information and data in practice’s medical records system
