Iowa Staffing is seeking a 3rd shift Mail Sorter on the Northeast side of Des Moines. The position includes sorting product, scanning, packaging mail, and other general warehouse duties as assigned. Schedule is Monday thru Friday 1 am-Finish (between 8 am and 10 am). Pay is $18.00 an hour.

Requirements include:

-1 year of recent warehouse experience preferred
-Reliable transportation to Des Moines, IA (not on the bus line)
-Ability to lift 20 pounds on a repetitive basis
-Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, and stand for extended periods of time.
-Good communication skills – must be able to follow instructions in English and read labels / match bar codes

Iowa Staffing is hiring Door Plant Assembly Workers to join a busy manufacturing team! This is a hands-on position assembling doors according to customer specifications and preparing finished products for shipment.

What You'll Do:

• Assemble doors using power tools and machinery
• Read basic work orders and check orders for accuracy
• Move, stack, load, and unload materials
• Operate a forklift as needed
• Prepare doors for shipment
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Perform other general door plant duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

• Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills
• Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical work
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 100 lbs. with assistance when needed

This client manufactures industrial plastics for applications ranging from construction equipment, food processing machinery, automotive, healthcare and many more. Pay will be based on applicant’s experience.
Requirements:
• CNC experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to read & interpret blueprints/drawings and 3D models
• Mathematical skills to be able to compute rates, ratios and percentages
