I am starting a company to provide actors for law enforcement training purposes. I have done some research in this area and I find that there are two companies that are currently offering this service, but both seem to be prohibitively expensive. With all the belt tightening that police and sheriff’s departments have been going thru the last several years, it seems that hiring actual actors to be
involved in your trainings would be high on the fiscal chopping block. This is probably true for your agency, even though having accomplished actors as role players is the best way to give your officers real world experience. I believe I can do it better and for less. I have been a Victim Advocate in law enforcement for 26 years, and I have been an actor/director on Denver area stages for longer than that. I have contacts with some of the best and most respected actors in the area, and I have the experience in the police world to know what your needs are, and I ‘speak the language.’ I have provided actors for the Littleton Police Department, Greenwood Police Department and the Rocky Mountain Negotiators Association, and each time they have received glowing reviews.
