We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Specialist to join a large-scale food manufacturing operation in Denton.

This is a hands-on industrial refrigeration position for someone who knows how to troubleshoot, maintain, and monitor refrigeration systems in a production environment.

🔧 WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
* Operate, inspect, and maintain industrial refrigeration systems
* Work with ammonia, Freon, and glycol refrigeration
* Troubleshoot compressors, pumps, valves, evaporators, condensers, controls, and related equipment
* Diagnose refrigeration and HVAC issues and make necessary repairs
* Respond to equipment problems and breakdowns to help keep production running
* Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections
* Monitor temperatures and system performance in production and storage areas
* Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and service records
* Assist with refrigeration safety procedures, leak detection, and emergency response
* Work alongside Maintenance, Production, Sanitation, and Quality teams

🦺 SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
* You'll be working around industrial equipment and refrigerants, so a strong commitment to safety is essential.

Experience with:
* Ammonia refrigeration
* EPA refrigerant requirements
* OSHA safety practices
* Food manufacturing standards
* Food safety and sanitation requirements

SNELLING is hiring detail-oriented Packaging Associates for a busy food manufacturing facility. This position involves several different packaging and quality-related tasks throughout the workday, so attention to detail is extremely important.
SHIFT OPTIONS:
☀️ Day Shift: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
🌙 Night Shift: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
📅 Overtime may be required, including some Saturdays
**** please note shift availability changes often; even if we don't have a current opening in your desired shift, you should apply! ****

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Build and prepare boxes for finished products
- Load product/package bags
- Inspect packaging for quality and accuracy
- Verify labels, product information and packaging
- Check finished packages for defects or errors
- Perform multiple packaging tasks as assigned
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Follow food manufacturing, safety and quality procedures

This is a VERY PHYSICAL, labor-intensive position. We want applicants to know exactly what to expect before applying.

💪 THE JOB:
- Consistently lift and move 40–50+ lbs
- Move 50 lb boxes from pallets to work tables
- Some lifting will be from floor level
- Scoop product into buckets at table level
- Repetitive lifting and physical activity throughout the shift

❄️ THE ENVIRONMENT:
- Cold food-manufacturing facility
- Some areas can be as cold as 28°F
- You will need to dress in layers
- The facility has a strong odor similar to the inside of a bag of dry dog food

Looking for reliable, hard-working people who are comfortable working in a cold, raw-meat processing environment.

🌙 SCHEDULE
• Rotating 2-2-3 schedule
• Work 2 nights → off 2 nights → work 3 nights → repeat
• Every other weekend required
• Overtime expected, but not guaranteed

💪 JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Cold work environment
• Raw meat is processed on-site, so there will be a raw-meat smell
• Primarily standing with walking, squatting, kneeling, pushing & pulling
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position
• Reliable work history is required

SNELLING is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to help keep machinery, equipment, tools, and facility operations running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and assist with mechanical repairs
- Repair and maintain woodworking machinery, conveyors/infeed & outfeed systems, hand tools and forklifts
- Perform tooling maintenance, including sharpening and cleaning
- Maintain repair and preventative maintenance records
- Follow LOTO and established safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience REQUIRED
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Basic computer skills
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Able to bend, kneel, twist and lift up to 80 lbs.
- Dependable, organized and safety-minded
- Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese is a PLUS

SNELLING is hiring dependable Production Laborers for a hands-on manufacturing position in Denton.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Overtime may extend the shift until 4:30 PM when needed.

What You’ll Do:
- Fabricate and assemble large components
- Operate and assist with production machinery
- Load, unload and move materials throughout the plant
- Use hand and power tools
- Inspect finished products for quality
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Learn multiple areas of production through on-the-job training

What We’re Looking For:
- Dependable and comfortable with physical, heavy-duty work
- Able to read and use a tape measure
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Manufacturing, production or woodworking experience is a PLUS
- Able to follow instructions and work well with a team
- Steel-toed shoes required
- Must be available for overtime when needed
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a PLUS

💪 THIS IS A PHYSICAL JOB: Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. unassisted and heavier items with assistance/team lifting. The facility is not climate controlled.
