Get on it!
I love my job, but does it love me back? How many times have we asked ourselves if we are
truly fulfilled doing what we do? Bills must be paid and taking care of our health is indeed
costly. Our mental health is often ignored when seeking ways to provide for our families. Often
times, we only seek the most lucrative or best-paying job or business. The aforementioned is
imperative, and indeed necessary, as without funds we can’t afford the basic things. According to
the job satisfaction statistics in the US for 2022, only 20% of people are passionate about their
job, while 60% are merely satisfied with their job. The article stated that those who are
passionate are not among the highest paid professions, but their job brings them joy. How can we
achieve that?
What are you passionate about? The first thing that comes to mind is what will bring you the
most joy and make you way more than just satisfied. According to surveys on Careerbliss,
among the top of the most satisfied are clerics, followed by chiropractors, being passionate about
what you do not only improves your mental health but makes you feel more valued. Today, ask
yourself if what you are doing brings you any joy; are you simply satisfied? If your answer is no,
then it& #39;s time for an introspect. The first step in getting you to do what you are passionate about
is finding out what you are passionate about.
When you find out what your passion is, foster it. Start by making it a hobby. Offer your product
to close family members or friends. Conduct extensive research on how to improve your task.
Being passionate about something does not make you the best at it. It is only the start of
mastering your craft. You will then need to find ways to make your passion into a business.
There are several resources at your fingertips where you can find out how to successfully
manage a business. Expect roadblocks and difficult times ahead. The average business is not
profitable in its first year. You may have to do something that is satisfying in the interim while
working on your passion, and that’s OK. Just be sure to make sure you’re giving your goals the
attention they need. Persevere and put your heart into your drive and watch it grow. Bezos
started off by selling books in his garage. Now everyone is familiar with or has used Amazon.
The time is now, and the ball is in your court. What is your dream? Get on it!
