🔑 Required Qualifications:
5+ years in workforce development, program management, or public service
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience working with multiple partners or organizations
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) provides services to both adults entering or re-entering the workforce and students in high school, who have a disability, who are trying to determine their long term career path. VRS also works with businesses to meet their staffing needs. Connecting the two is the integral part of employment.
An example of this is a chain of convenient stores that has a wonderful partnership with VRS. They shared that they were looking to have someone whose job was to keep the store clean. The created a position available to VRS job candidates to do those cleaning tasks. Locally, VRS has helped placed at least a dozen job candidates in this position with almost no turnover!!
