Total Transition Services

Total Transition Services We're focused on education, advocacy, and career accessibility for our clients and their families. Our services do not end with the disabled individual.

Total Transition Services is a business that serves disabled Texans. We help individuals find enjoyable and sustainable work in the community. In addition to job services we hold classes and teach social and executive functioning skills that are needed to be successful in work or college. We also hold classes to help you discover your interests/abilities, prepare for employment, and then what you

need to know once you have the job. We also assist parents/support persons in their role as caretakers and provide a community for families with a disabled child to network and find support. Service areas primarily include Ellis and Tarrant counties, while currently expanding services to clients in surrounding communities.

At Total Transition Services, this is exactly what we believe: when young people have the chance to work, they start to see what they are capable of.

That growing confidence turns into real independence—on the job, in the community, and at home.

Every shift, every new skill, and every small win is a step toward a better future for teens and young adults with disabilities in the DFW area.

If you know a student or family who is starting to think about life after high school, we would love to connect and share how we can support their transition into meaningful employment.

If you operate or own a small business, we would like to share how partnering in our internship program can benefit your organization while helping young people develop new skills and grow their confidence! We'd love to hear from you!

Transition Tip: Enhance your career trajectory by exploring job opportunities at an early stage. Identify your passions, visit stimulating workplaces, and participate in short-term work experiences to discover your ideal fit. Internships, such as our Work Experience program, vocational adjustment classes like Explore the You in Work, and career assessments are valuable tools for determining which jobs you will find most fulfilling.

At Total Transition Services, we believe social skills should never come at the cost of authenticity. Our PEERS® groups teach real-world strategies that help teens connect while respecting their neurodivergent identities. It's a strengths-based, neuroaffirming approach—with parents trained as social coaches to support practice outside of group.
