Madison Square Garden has one of the best relocation stories in New York City history — and most people don't even know it.
📍 MSG — New York City The "Garden" hasn't been near Madison Square since 1925. The original arena opened in 1879 at 26th Street and Madison Avenue. It moved uptown to 50th Street in 1925. Then in 1968 it landed at 31st Street where it lives today — nearly two miles from where it started. The name stayed. The identity stayed. The legend grew with every move.
That's the thing about relocation done right. You don't lose who you are by moving somewhere new. You take everything that makes you great and build something bigger in a new place.

Have you ever moved somewhere new and ended up becoming more yourself because of it?
