ENTRY LEVEL MECHANICAL ENGINEER POSITION

The Production Engineer is responsible for production processes related to continuous improvement as well as on-going production support. This position will be responsible for any of these production processes: FEM, Injection Mold, Radiator and Confessor assembly, Cooling Module Assembly, HVAC assembly and Fan and Shroud. This is a Direct hire opportunity in Shorter AL

Production Engineer Essential Functions:
• Responsible for the assigned production process to meet production and quality objectives.
• Focuses on efficiency improvement and management activity.
• Responsible for customer quality issues follow-up and improvement process.
• Supports cost savings by analyzing scrap and find solutions to reduce waste.
• Participates in continuous improvement activities as they relate to machinery and tooling issues.
• Generates and maintains line documentation including Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, Control Plans, Workmanship Standards, and check sheets for line members and technicians.
• Responsible for conducting machinery run-off/buy-off's for purchased machinery and tooling. Duties include assuring conformance to specification, evaluating cycle time, assessing safety and ergonomics and conducting process capability studies prior to release to production.
• Supports maintenance department activities for equipment and tooling (i.e. PM schedules, spare part lists, etc.).
• Prepares training materials and conducts the training as required.
• Participates in Cross Functional Team (CFT) meetings and support team objectives.
• Trains team members and technicians to improve their skill.
• Support EHS objectives.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Production Engineer Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Knowledge in dynamics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, system design, HVAC, machine design and manufacturing design-usually obtained through experience or course work.
• CAD designing of a part and sub parts assembly skills such as AutoCAD or Inventor or Siemens NX preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings and design prototypes.
• Coursework or experience in engineering-related programming such as MATLAB or C/C++, or PYTHON preferred.
• Computer skills to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Bilingual Korean/English a Plus!

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Office Work Environment
• Plant work environment with fluctuations in temperature (hotter in the summer, cooler in the winter). Exposure to certain noise levels and bright lights.
• Required to wear company-issued personal protective equipment and support company EHS requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Standing /Walking for extended periods.
• Sitting for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching with arms forward/above the shoulders.
• Ability to stay focused for extended periods of time.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to analyze information, identify problems.

An Onsite Manager acts as an on-site extension of the client's HR function and direct representative of our firm, managing all aspects of client contingent workforce, to include business relationship development, recruitment, selection, and management of the contingent employees.

Check-in new temporary employees. Take temporary employee call-offs and coordinate replacements.
Orientation of all temporary employees to client’s procedures, systems and work environment as well as policies and procedures.
Maintain records and process timesheets and forward to payroll department for all temporary employees.
Address and resolve any concerns or billing discrepancies.
Develop/maintain quality standards for temporary employees. Coach/counsel temporary employees, evaluate their performance, conduct performance reviews as required and terminate employees as appropriate.
Maintain/Develop reports/questionnaires to determine the quality of service.
Act as liaison between client and branch office and provide feedback on temporary employee performance to both parties.
Prepare weekly, monthly and annual headcount and attrition reports.

Unique Skills:
Requirements:
- Static and fatigue analysis of primary and secondary airframe structure of metallic construction experience.
- Strong background in classical stress analysis.
- Experience with Catia V5 to support stress analysis and drawing release.
- Experience with reviewing 2D drawings.
- Skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision.

Preferred:
- Experience with aircraft modifications and repairs (STC, MRB, or Service) preferred.
- Static analysis of composite structure, preferably with experience using GAC analysis methods
- Composite allowable testing and certification requirements.
- Experience with Patran/Nastran is a plus.
- Strong preference for engineers that enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Experience credit considered for related adv degrees limited to 2 yrs for Masters, 4 yrs for PhD in fields applicable to this job.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Contributes to planning, developing and coordinating of important engineering projects
2. Provides specialized technical assistance to team members 3. Uses advanced techniques and modified extension of theories to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
4. Determines and develops own approach to solutions within schedule and cost objectives
5. Works under limited supervision; work should only be required. to be reviewed for accuracy and consistency with meeting overall objectives 6. Acts as liaison with representatives outside of the assigned group/area

Additional Functions:
1. Actively works to improve daily processes and ensures all work meets customer requirements
2. Maintains a current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty and/or other related aircraft fields in order to recommend innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of company product Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
1. Advanced degree in engineering related field preferred
The level of technical skill and abilities appropriate for this grade will be established by each discipline.
