Cuero Regional Hospital is searching for a FT Accountant in our Finance Department.

The Accountant is responsible for assigned month end close duties, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
Performs daily transfers and balances for QIPP Nursing Homes, Hospital and Clinic bank accounts
Reconciles and balances QIPP payments are tracked by nursing home and ensure correct amount is paid according to payments made by the state and/or insurance carrier
Research transfers with dates greater than one month and keeps in close contact with the nursing homes and clinics to ensure transfers are performed timely
Participates in Performance Improvement activities
Other duties will include assisting or completing various reports and analysis as assigned by the Controller and/or CFO.

Qualifications:
4 year college degree in accounting or related field
1 year as an accountant or recent college graduate
4 or more years as an accountant in a healthcare setting preferred

Cuero Regional Hospital is searching for a FT Quality Director in our Quality Department.

The Quality Director is responsible for the CRH quality program consisting of quality monitoring, infection control and staff education to assure staff are educated in organizational priorities.
The Quality Director is responsible assuring the quality core measure abstraction and the monitoring of quality assurance/performance improvement indicators throughout the organization.
This requires coordination of department monitoring to assure timely reporting to QAPI.
Additionally, the Director is responsible for oversight and coordination of staff education to promote excellence and innovation in the delivery of patient centered care.
In collaboration with senior leaders and department managers, the Quality Department will manage, coordinate and implement staff education.
Qualifications:

The position will assist in the instruction of equipment and programs to members in the area of Wellness and Rejuvenation Center. Will assist with maintaining facility, equipment and complete other duties assigned by the Wellness manager and assistant manager.

Other requirements include but are not limited to:
• Maintains a clean working environment. Performs routine equipment maintenance, where applicable.
• Assists with program development.
• Provide members with thorough walk through and provide basic start up plans for the clients.
• Provide guidance to members about correct cardiovascular or resistance procedures. This should be done where the clients will not feel embarrassed.
• Process and orient new members.
• Be knowledgeable of Wellness Center Policies. Enforce all rules and regulations pertaining to the exercise floor and fitness room and rejuvenation center.
• Adheres to all CCH policies, procedures, and standards, within budgetary specifications, including time management, productivity, and accuracy of practice.
• Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department- based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resources to less experienced staff.

High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required

The RN is responsible for adhering to all standards of the hospital and nursing service department for managing supplies and equipment with the direction of the RN in charge of the unit and for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
The RN is generally assigned one specific shift and unit but may be required to cover other shifts and units as the need arises.

Cuero Regional Hospital is searching for a FT Paramedic in our EMS Department.

Job Description:

Provide basic and paramedic level care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients when responding to emergency calls, non-emergency call, emergency transfers and non-emergency transfers.
This includes basic and paramedic level assessment of the sick and injured and determining the appropriate treatment.
Provide treatment at the basic and paramedic level using equipment, supplies, and medication within competency level and scope of practice.
Identifies patient changes during care and acts accordingly to maintain or improve the patient’s condition.
Prepare and submits a patient care report that reflects the assessment, treatment and patient response to treatment.
Work cooperatively with other member of the Cuero Regional Hospital team and assist other departments as needed.
Communicate with receiving care providers to assure a seamless transition of patient care and maintain continuity of care.
Perform daily inspection and inventory of the ambulances equipment and supplies and replaces items as needed.
Check ambulances daily for safety and operational issues.
Check vehicle fluid levels (oil, coolant, etc.) and fills as needed.
Report all unsafe ambulance or equipment issues to immediate supervisor.
Clean and disinfect equipment and ambulances daily and as needed.
Maintain continuing education hours in accordance with Texas DSHS for certification.
Keep current with required annual training for Cuero Regional Hospital.
Attend required department and hospital in-services and meetings.
Maintain compliance with Cuero EMS and Cuero Regional Hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
Current EMT-Paramedic certification.
Current Texas driver's license.
CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Must be at least 21 years old.
