Due to weather conditions affecting parts of the Coastal Bend, several Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend Career Centers will operate on a delayed schedule today to help ensure the safety of our staff and customers.

❌ Falfurrias Career Center – Closed

In observance of Juneteenth, Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend offices will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.

On Friday, customers may contact the Mission Career Center at 361-882-7491 for immediate assistance. The offices will resume normal business hours on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Yesterday, we proudly celebrated the launch of our 2026 Summer Earn & Learn program during Signing Day, an event that marks the beginning of an exciting journey for students across the Coastal Bend!

Summer Earn & Learn provides students with disabilities the opportunity to gain valuable paid work experience, build workplace skills, and explore future career pathways in real-world environments. Today’s event was a celebration of their hard work, determination, and bright futures ahead.

A heartfelt thank you to the students and families who joined us as they took this important step toward future success. We are also incredibly grateful to our employer partners for investing in the next generation of talent and creating meaningful opportunities for our students to learn and grow.
