Job Overview:
A front desk agent is the first face a guest sees when they walk into our hotel. Therefore, the agent is to be highly motivated, provide outstanding guest service, have a professional attitude and a friendly smile. Must also have good organizational skills, effective conflict management and decision making, ability to use a variety of computer applications, working knowledge of the facility, services and local area. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Duties:
Process guest arrivals and departures, including all necessary payments
Handle & coordinate room assignments and pre-arrivals
Handle guests' concerns, with follow-up on resolutions
Offer referral for services and handle requests for information
Assist with the check-in and check-out of groups and tours
Assist other departments as required
Must be flexible (on call)
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
