Temp-to-Perm Position.

Executes all phases of receiving as well as Warehouse Operations in support of production.

Receiving:
Ensure accurate receipt and inventory tracking of all components, both company owned and customer owned, utilizing ERP platform.
Performs accurate sampling and incoming QA inspection of all components and mark accordingly.
Ensure timely delivery of receipts and samples with required information to respective departments.
Maintain accurate receiving logs and inventory files.
Manage incoming freight and ensure timely and safe unloading and inventory location.
Work directly with customer shipping inventory control representatives to ensure timely and accurate exchange of information.

Warehouse Operations:
Assist in supervising warehouse operations to provide timely support to production, ensuring accurate delivery of production components and finished goods.
Coordinate with other departments as needed to facilitate the receiving-production- shipping process.
Help ensure the established material request process is followed and documented.

Other responsibilities may include: Collecting samples for quality testing and approval.
Maintain material specifications and quality standards.
Maintain SDS information.
Prepare and generate required reports. Ensure warehouse personnel fill material request in a timely manner, document and turn in for data entry.
Enforce bin location system.
Assist with physical and cyclic inventories. Ensure R&D and burn labs receive warehouse support for preparing/moving large non-UPS/FedEx shipments and pallets for burn testing.
Become licensed on sit down and stand-up forklifts.
Facilitate training of any additional/new warehouse workers.
Work with company leadership to ensure continuous process improvement in all areas of work responsibility and safety. Pay depends on qualifications and experience.

Swing Shifts: Day Shift hours 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM and Night Shift hours 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM (work 3 days on, 2 days off; works 2 days on, 3 days off...alternating days each week)

Job Responsibilities:

Adjust, calibrate and test equipment at the beginning of every shift to ensure proper pressure, speed, temperature and general operation.
Examine visually, weigh and measure components created from equipment at the end of the week to ensure machines are producing according to company and industry regulations and standards, making adjustments as needed.
Work with team members, shift supervisors and all necessary personnel to take care of complications as they arise.
Communicate with fellow team members to learn of any equipment problems or malfunctions, and take care of them as they come up.
Use regulated cleaning solutions, grease guns, oil cans, air hoses and cleaning cloths to properly maintain and clean equipment.
Make repairs to equipment when necessary, and replace all defective, broken or worn out components.
Choose and install cutters, molds and all other necessary equipment parts so machines are always operating at peak efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to read measurements.
Well-organized and history of showing initiative.
Knowledge of current OSHA safety rules and regulations.
