$20.00/Hour | Monday-Friday, 6am-3pm | Overtime is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Responsibilities:
• Product & Print Inspection
• Inspect corrugated boxes and folding cartons for print accuracy, color consistency, clarity, and overall quality against approved art proofs.
• Identify defects including color fading, incorrect colors, ink smudging, misprints, and print inconsistencies.
• Perform inspections on initial runs, mid‑run, and end of run, ensuring consistency throughout the entire production process.
Receiving & Floor QC
• Conduct QC inspections on all product received from vendors (e.g., Spartan Printing, BCI) before material is released to production or customers.
• Open and inspect every case or carton as required, including pulling and reviewing samples from each pallet.
• Review and verify part numbers, quantities per pallet, and product accuracy using internal systems such as DDI.
Documentation & Reporting
• Document QC findings, including photos and written notes, and share results with Customer Service, Production, and Management.
• Place quarantine stickers on non‑conforming product and clearly communicate status and counts.
• Assist with creating and maintaining Quality Control forms, Board Issue Forms, and QC documentation used on the production floor.
Process Support & Communication
• Act as “eyes and ears” on the production floor by closely monitoring machine runs and immediately reporting any issues with ink, board, tooling, machines, setup, or delays.
• Communicate directly with Customer Service, Production Managers, and vendors regarding QC issues, rejections, pickups, credits, or scrap decisions.
• Support priority QC requests and coordinate inspections before customer visits or incoming vendor representatives.
Required Qualifications:
• Previous Quality Control experience, preferably in corrugated packaging, folding cartons, or printed materials.
• Strong understanding of print quality standards and ability to compare finished product to art proofs.
• Attention to detail and ability to inspect high volumes of product accurately.
• Comfortable working on the production floor around machinery.
• Able to clearly document findings and communicate issues professionally.
