Job description
MAIN FUNCTION
Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Performs regular equipment checks and completes related documentation and notifies supervisor of unsafe conditions.
· Performs general housekeeping/clean up in assigned work area by operating gas powered sweepers.
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations during loading.
· Weigh products and record weight and other data on shipping reports.
· Sort, pack, wrap and label products as per company procedures.
· Store the products in proper places in warehouse.
· Moderate amount of labor activity, must be able to lift 50 pounds or less.
· Maintain material handling equipment by recharging, cleaning, oiling, refueling and other necessary actions, and record all information on log sheet.
· Load and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.
· Loads/unloads finished goods or raw materials on trucks, rail cars and sacks.
· Operates a yard dog and tractor/trailer in a safe and efficient manner to move equipment between the yards for loading/unloading.
· Operates a track mobile to move railcars to specified areas, such as loading, and cleaning.
· Performs any other assigned tasks given by supervision.
· Assist with improved quality and efficiencies in the Shipping Department.
· Oil Unloader- Duties & Responsibilities
o Procedures & Work Instructions (Documented in Qualtrax) - Train and demonstrate an effective working knowledge of all assigned training.
o DOT HM-181 Training Course- Train and pass the assigned Hazmat training course as required by the DOT.
o Documentation- Must be accurate and submitted in a timely manner. Verify with management for potential issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma or GED
· Forklift Experience
· Twelve (12) months of related experience in a manufacturing facility preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $16.00 per hour
