Structural Welder- Certified/Experienced in Flux Core
Columbia, TN / Full time / $20.00- $24.00 Per Hour starting wages.

A structural steel products manufacturing company, is looking for structural welders with experience in production welding using Flux Core and Mig.
Responsibilities will include interpreting designs, monitoring equipment, and assessing welded components.
This company is a large part of the architectural and structural parts manufacturing industry. To excel in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of welding equipment.. The successful candidate will also have a steady hand and outstanding attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Weld large components using 045 Flux Core Wire and 035 Mig Wire.
Use specialized equipment for industrial welding and oversee equipment
Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors
Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective hoods, and safety shoes
Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
Complete additional tasks as requested by the supervisor
Experience
A minimum of 1 year experience with FLUX CORE and MIG welding and/or a certification.
Requirements
Knowledge of welding equipment and hand tools
Great communication skills
Bend, reach, stoop, stand etc .10-12 hours
Provide a clean drug screen
Ability to become certified by company
Work well in fast paced surroundings
Work well with others and individually
Have a reliable form of transportation
A strong attention to detail
Be able to work in non-climate controlled environment
Lift and move 50 lbs
Location: Columbia, TN
Pay Rate: $20.00-24.00 Per Hour Starting Wages

Allstaff is seeking a skilled Machine Set-Up/Tooling Technician to join a great team at a metals manufacturing facility for a full time, temp to hire position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial mechanics and have experience in a metals operation. The Machine Set-Up/ Tooling Technician will be responsible for tooling changes and perform machine set up adjustments ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tooling changes on roll forming machines for different shapes
- Perform setup adjustments on roll formers
- Assist operators with troubleshooting roll former product spec issues
- Supplying raw material to the roll former line when needed
- Run roll formers when needed
Qualifications:
2-3 yrs experience in Manufacturing with Machine Set-Up & Machine Tooling. Preferred previous experience in a metals operation.
$20.00 starting hourly wage, depending on experience.
Day shift, 40 hours per week.

Job description:
We are seeking a motivated,
detail-oriented AND Experienced Industrial Sandblaster to join a Columbia based manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces through abrasive blasting techniques to ensure optimal finish quality on industrial components and structures. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with hand tools and power tools, and a passion for maintaining high standards in industrial finishing processes.
Starting pay rate for Sandblaster is $20.00 depending on skill set with great benefits after 90 days.
This is a full time, temp to permanent job position with a steadfast employer.
Current work hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00a.m.-4:30p.m. Must be available to work 10-12 hours and Fridays for O/T as needed.

Responsibilities
Operate sandblasting equipment such as a Graco Sandblaster to clean and prepare surfaces of steel for painting applications.
Set up and adjust abrasive blasting machinery according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure proper surface preparation and finish quality.
Handle materials safely using forklifts, cranes, or other warehouse equipment as needed for loading, unloading, and positioning components.
Perform routine maintenance on sandblasting equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance.
Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency and minimize waste.
Must have the ability to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs working in an 18X18X70 blast booth using steel grit.
Must be able to tolerate outdoor weather elements.
Experience
Prior experience in manufacturing or construction environments involving surface preparation or finishing processes.
Familiarity with materials handling equipment including forklifts and cranes.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, airless systems.
Ability to read basic math measurements accurately for precise surface finishing tasks
Warehouse experience with an understanding of safety protocols related to industrial painting and sandblasting operations.
Strong mechanical aptitude combined with knowledge of precision measuring instruments and assembly processes.

Experienced Industrial Steel Painter

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, experienced Industrial Steel Painter. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint coatings to large steel structures, ensuring durability.

Duties:
Prepare steel surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding using hand tools and power tools such as sanders, grinders, and airless paint sprayers
Mix and apply industrial-grade paint coatings with precision, ensuring even coverage and adherence according to schematics and technical specifications
Use blueprint reading skills to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and surface preparation instructions for each project
Conduct quality inspections throughout the process to verify color consistency, coating thickness, and overall finish quality using color theory knowledge
Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste materials and ensuring tools are stored safely after use
Experience:
Proven 1+ years experience in industrial painting or construction painting on large-scale projects involving steel structures.
Experience using a zinc mixing pot for applying zinc-rich paints.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment such as Graco Bulldog.
Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to construction painting projects
Experience with surface preparation techniques such as sandblasting or grinding for optimal coating adhesion
Additional skills in residential or commercial painting, plastering, masonry, renovation, or handyman tasks are considered valuable assets
This is a full time, permanent position.
Starting pay for Painter is $20.00- 21.00 depending on skills/ experience with excellent benefits after 90 days.
