Position Details:
Monday-Friday
OT / Weekends as needed
1st shift 7am- 4pm
Temp position with the possibility of being hired on
Pay rate:$18-$19
Job Located: Garden Grove
Forklift Operator's Responsibilities: MUST BE CERTIFIED
Transports freight, pulls merchandise, replaces freight, fills daily orders, and controls freight flow when operating moving equipment in a safe and correct manner.
Transports and delivers freight to appropriate areas of the facility in an accurate and timely manner.
Tells management about unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures in the facility.
Operates moving equipment in a safe and correct manner.
Maintains a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
Other tasks assigned by Supervisor
Warehouse Duties:
Working in different stations depending on where you are needed
Very important to be on time every day
Training will be done for each station but must learn fast.
Warehouse - heavy/light
They will be labeling and banding/ strapping.
Requirements
Position Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of experience on the sit down, stand up reach, EPJ, cherry picker and turret
Must be able to pass forklift assessment
Must be able to pass forklift certification
Have affective communication skills
Ability to ask for help when needed
Be flexible with working in different departments such as general labor when work is slow
Ability to work as a team player
Ability to work alone
Expectations from QHL Staffing:
Be punctual to work everyday- Maintain outstanding attendance
Must communicate at least 2 hours prior to start of shift if running late or need to miss work
Maintain professional at all times- language, behavior, and following dress code
Acceptable dress code- warehouse attire, t-shirts and jeans with closed toe shoes.
Un-acceptable dress code- No ripped or distressed jeans, no low cut or distressed shirts or tops, no open toe shoes or innapropriate illistrations or verbage on attire
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consitently (no more than 40 lbs)
Be flexible- assisting with general labor tasks when needed
