What does an experienced commercial real estate paralegal make in Tampa?

Our 2026 Salary Guide puts paralegals at $62,000–$80,000 and certified or senior paralegals at $78,125–$99,500. This role pays $80,000, the top of the standard paralegal range.

You'll manage commercial real estate and finance transactions from inception to closing: title and survey review, closing checklists and statements, deeds, mortgages and UCC filings, and post-closing binders.

You'll need:
→ 5+ years of commercial real estate and/or finance paralegal experience in a law firm
→ Strong title, survey and closing skills
→ Preferred: Florida Registered Paralegal, iManage and Aderant, bachelor's degree

The client is billed at $31/hr. You take home $20. The rest covers taxes, workers' compensation, real benefits, and the cost of paying you before the client pays us. What's left over is smaller than most people think.
