Peoplelink is seeking a dedicated Shredder Operator to take charge at our facility. You won't just be pushing buttons; you'll be the primary troubleshooter and efficiency guru, ensuring the safe and continuous flow of material through one of our most critical assets.

📍LOCATION📍: Clare, MI

🎯 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 🎯:

➡️Operate & Monitor⬅️: Be the primary operator of the auto shredder, cranes, conveyors, and magnet systems.

➡️Optimize⬅️: Fine-tune controls to ensure maximum material throughput and recovery.

➡️Inspect & Troubleshoot⬅️: Perform detailed daily inspections, identify jams or malfunctions, and implement corrective action immediately.

➡️Safety First⬅️: Strictly follow all Lockout/Tagout procedures and maintain environmental compliance.

➡️Teamwork⬅️: Collaborate with yard and maintenance teams to coordinate material movement and assist with minor repairs.

⭐ Must-Have Qualifications⭐️:

✅Experience✅: Minimum 1-2 years operating heavy production machinery (shredder, mill, or recycling facility experience highly preferred).

✅Skills✅: Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting ability, and sharp attention to detail.

✅Bonus✅: Experience operating mobile equipment like a loader, excavator, or skid steer.

✅Abilities✅: Must be able bodied to perform physical tasks like bending, twisting, standing for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, working in outdoor and industrial environments (heat, cold, noise, and dust).
