Meet Gary, a LEAP Fulfillment Leader at GE Aerospace and an Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) alum.

Gary joined OMLP after discovering that he loved the collaborative, problem-solving side of manufacturing during his internships. Today, he helps support LEAP assembly operations by managing fulfillment across hundreds of engine parts, identifying risks and helping teams respond quickly when material flow is challenged.

What drew Gary to OMLP was its emphasis on leadership. The opportunity to learn from strong mentors — and in turn help develop others while guiding a team toward a shared mission — has been one of the most meaningful parts of his journey.

The GE Aerospace Foundation is proud to launch our new partnership with Grand Valley State University to expand the Next Engineers program to Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The Next Engineers program will reach more than 4,000 students who are interested in engineering, building upon the more than 34,000 students the program has reached globally. Through immersive design challenges, hands-on coaching, and mentorship from GE Aerospace volunteers, students will see how engineers are helping invent the future of flight and solving some of the world's toughest challenges
GE Aerospace has operated in the Michigan region for more than 80 years, advancing engineering breakthroughs while supporting local schools and STEM programs.
